Pete's Tavern - Union Square

When one of my girlfriends from high school came to NYC, I took her to this cute tavern on Irving Place and 18th street. Again, it's right next to union square and this would especially be a cool place to visit for those Sex an the City fans out there because this is where Miranda proposed to Steve while they were eating on the patio!

We got some delicious brunch and as you can see above, we got a Smoked Salmon dish served with bagels (left) and Mushroom and artichoke heart frittata (right). Everything was delicious but the cornbread served with the frittata was the most YUMMY cornbread I've ever tasted.

Overall the atmosphere is very chill and it has an old school charm to it.
In fact, this place is one of the oldest restaurant&bar in the city!
